Google appears to be preparing another major step in AI-powered video creation. Early signs of a new video model called Gemini Omni have appeared inside the Gemini app.
According to early information, the new feature may allow users to generate videos, edit existing clips, remix content through chat, and use ready-made templates. This could make video creation more interactive and easier directly inside Gemini.
At the moment, Google’s official AI video generation system is mainly based on Veo 3.1. This model can generate short videos with audio, turn images into videos, and support vertical video formats for social media content.
It is still unclear whether Gemini Omni will be a completely new model, a continuation of Veo, or an additional video editing feature inside Gemini. However, early signs show that Google is actively expanding its AI video capabilities and focusing on making content creation more user-friendly.
Gemini Omni could be especially useful for social media managers, designers, marketers, bloggers, and businesses that regularly create promotional or social media videos. If the feature becomes widely available, users may be able to produce creative video content faster without relying on complex editing software.
Google has not officially announced Gemini Omni as a separate product yet. Therefore, the exact release date, supported countries, pricing, and availability details are still unknown.
